apartment, my kids love the outdoor swimming pool, quiet location and i have nothing to complaint about

food from the bar at night was tasty hot and great service

i had emailed the hotel about an early check in but wasn’t that hopeful

the bar was very nice and locals were friendly

the room was a decent size and clean, the staff very welcoming and attentive, the bar downstairs serves excellent ale and the gardens have a lovely view of the canal

the view from my room was lovely and it was very quiet away from the noise of the bar area

i am therfore turning this box into a positive until i have said enough to turn the bar gree

having the shared kitchen to get breakfast at your own convenience is a great idea

kettle in room 2 (our stay) didn't seem to work, so we had to use the shared kitchen's kettle

they offered quite a few little bits for breakfast too in the communal kitchen

the room was next to kitchen and stairs and was at times noisy

there is a communal kitchen with a coffee machine and diy continental breakfast is provided which is a lovely touch

were very lucky as we had the apartment so our own private bathroom and kitchen etc

numerous bedrooms, a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, one shower and bath

location is superb, atmosphere good too. toilets are clean, as was the kitchen.

we would say is the taxi services were awful around, we had a couple of recommendations from the bar but none turned up, luckily we flagged one down for a wedding we had to attend

the restoration on the old stables is lovely, the bar room is cozy and welcoming a the staff were attentive and helpful
