waldorf astoria punta cacique is a beautiful resort, the pools and the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are

layout in some areas, to access the pool from our building you had to exit through the teenage kids club and

the restaurant service was slow and the poolside service was also slow and not very attentive

we liked the transportation service because we were able to enjoy the bar without worries of driving back to

do with more sun beds as you have to be down at the pool for 7am to get a half decent spot

there is a quieter pool but this lacks amenities, the bar there closed at 3 and the restaurant wasn t open

the pool is not very large and becomes crowded quickly

outside the pool area, to get to the beach, you were hassled by men trying to sell you tours and other stuff

was a lot of space in the room (with kitchenette) and the balcony was extra spacious with carved wooden chairs

block from the beach, beautiful pool and rooms and fabulous staff

seniors with bad knees and kids with strollers hard to get around because there are lots of stairs to the beach

as a solo traveller it was quite a surprise to see so many kids running around

breakfast was really delicious

should be more variety of food at the pool

the kids club activities are better suited for children six and under

breakfast at the buffet was exceptional better than the breakfast offered to the star class at the

amazing design, very good restaurant, beautiful pool and a stunning viewpoint on top of the hill

breakfast is bespoke a la carte and high quality

friday night they had a dj and a bar up at the lookout - which was fun

the 3 secluded stone pools are great and the pool bar is wonderful for a drink

was an amazing 5 star experience as soon as we pulled in to the parking area

we should have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful pool

some of the parking had covering which made it great from the searing sun

the hotel is in a lovely setting, it is so clean, so friendly, the pool is beautiful, the gardens are exquisite

it is also adults only hotel

excellent pool and a private beach with early morning yoga twice a week included

up kept and clean. very friendly staff and excellent pool.

bed sucked, room was always cold, and the room was near a parking lot.

breakfast was lovely overlooking the ocean and we enjoyed walking on the beach afterward

my kids went on a beach run one morning and waded through the estuary out and back, only to be

there was a small kitchen too which was nice for lounging at the pool and running back

trays in the room mini-fridge would have been nice, but it was not a big problem to ask the bar to fill our cups

we brought two kids this time and they really enjoyed this beautiful place

not me, so i didn't miss it, but maybe families with kids

the magnesio massage at the spa was amazing, and oropendola waterfall

our kids could not do any of the adventure tour activities but they did enjoy all the waterfall

the included breakfast buffet was superb
