the noise from the laundry was consistent and very annoying, the towel rail wall brackets were loose and one of the

wifi kept dropping out

restaurant fit me in for a meal minutes before closing as i was late off the local golf course

with very good facilities especially the large walk in shower - the food in both the bar and the breakfast included in the room rate were first class and the bar had a lovely atmosphere

bar was very dark and confined, not a place we wanted to use, compared to the open aspect of the

way system to get to bar

so convenient to everywhere we needed, golf courses and the pub!

stayed at harbourside as a base for a 3 day golf break playing the fabulous golf courses in ayrshire

we are booking again but with kids aswell, so really looking forward to another stay real soon thank you

small apartment had everything we needed the kids loved the garden staff were very friendly and helpful amazing value for money decor was lovely

all of the little touches added up - welcome pack, slippers, golf umbrella, earplugs - the dogs were spoiled too with their own blanket and hand-made treats

the kitchenette was very well stocked and adequate but would have been handy to have an oven but again

lots of golf memorabilia if you’re j to that sort of thing

is an iconic hotel due to its location on the 18th fairway at royal troon golf club where the 2016 open championship was held

customer service aspect at the hotel and that at the troon links which offers the choice of three golf courses were excellent

was a short trip with friends for the open golf tournament in troon, july 2024

maybe as it was the open golf weekend at troon the prices were a lot higher than any other

the breakfast was quite poor, didnt think it was fresh and the quality not good for a gang of golfers needing to feed up before setting off

this didn’t have any effect on us but one doggy did attack another dog and would hate my kids to have seen

the service in the restaurant and bar was professional and prompt

has a reputation it wishes to uphold as a favourite for visitors to ayr and nearby facilities (eg golf, race course etc) (+)good location for the golf

location, style atmosphere having the spa facility is a bonus the food and staff are

on arrival past the checkin time we were surrounded with laundry bags and trolleys and this was the case every day

requested an early check in as we were attending a wedding, this was no problem at all

hotel was not worth price paid, which was likely inflated due to the open golf at troon

rooms were expensive for what they were, possibly due to the fact that we stayed during the open golf

they accommodated an early breakfast as we were travelling to the open golf
