you want to spend time on your own as you can have peace to be by yourself or you can sit in the bar or the dinning

wedding nearby, and the staff, especially kirsty, were extremely helpful and accommodating to our early check in

helpful early check in as we were going to the horse racing which started earlier than originally

lady on reception was 10/10 and went out of her way to accommodate us with an early check in

we chose this lodging for its proximity to our day of golf in the area

there was also a large park and golf club nearby

location, style atmosphere having the spa facility is a bonus the food and staff are

managed a quick dip in the indoor pool

the breakfast was quite poor, didnt think it was fresh and the quality not good for a gang of golfers needing to feed up before setting off

maybe as it was the open golf weekend at troon the prices were a lot higher than any other

asked for a late check out and was offered without an issue

we arrived around two o clock and had to sit in reception like two scolded kids

wonderful views over the golf course to the sea

did not like the glass tables at breakfast, makes it a very noisy meal with all hard surfaces

bar service was shocking in our separate party room and prob cost a fortune

from the reception staff to the bar staff, restaurant staff, kitchen staff

ambience to hotel lovely position and bar and lounge area very good - staff extremely attentive also the bathroom was great with

offering a drink and the ability to take over her lounge to watch the golf

were going to a wedding and asked for early check in

the hotel was in an excellent location and looks out on to royal troon golf course and the beautiful firth of clyde

we had a lovely room with both golf view and sea view

is an iconic hotel due to its location on the 18th fairway at royal troon golf club where the 2016 open championship was held

food especially the fish, the mussels, the beef, beautiful place to relax, and do nothing, walk, golf, breathe, smile, authentic friendly staff, any issue is dealt with a smile, perfect

it is full of golf history, and has many interesting paintings depicting years of golfing memories

staff where excellent and very helpful the location for the golf was spot on

staff, dog friendly, contemporary room, vintage golf club and golf hole prints on the walls, good

rooms and staff were really good, great location for troon golf.

it’s a 5 minute drive to royal troon and around 15 minutes to prestwick golf

was very welcoming and helpful breakfast in the morning was 10/10 will be back for dbb next

all of the little touches added up - welcome pack, slippers, golf umbrella, earplugs - the dogs were spoiled too with their own blanket and hand-made treats

the kitchen space had everything you needed for the short break away, 2 ring hob, full size fridge &

there was ample free parking on site and having scotts bar there too was a treat - the food was great

apartment was spacious and the kitchen was very useful

the spa was a wonderfully relaxing experience and my husband loved the golf shop

cold in room as heating wasn t available especially as we wanted to dry some wet golf

was our 4th time staying at the riverside as part of an annual golfing trip to the area

so convenient to everywhere we needed, golf courses and the pub!

stayed at harbourside as a base for a 3 day golf break playing the fabulous golf courses in ayrshire

best hotel we've been to in a long time & will definitely be rebooking to come back with the kids during summer holidays

kids did not like the smell of cigarette smoke coming from back garden

also had toys for kids out the back court yard

was lovely staff were great really nice comfy bar 4 lads on a golf trip great place to stay plenty parking great value food was superb would stay

playing golf competition nearby, perfect location.
