first night - lots of kids sitting around and playing at bottom of stairs as we came down from our room

garden was absolutely stunning, huge space, kids play area and views across the fields

the menu prices have gone down since the visit in february + brilliant wifi + attentive staff + beds

fresh towels on the bed and room service came in to freshen the bathroom up each

disabled access is good on the ground floor, gardens and parking, and as the hotel does not have a lift due to

best breakfast in town -excellently served

steak in evening in foxhunter bar bit tough

snow meant the food festival was cancelled but the room was so comfortable we didnt really mind room service

food fantastic, and house wine in bar excellent

lovely, clean, tastefully decorated room. delicious breakfast. helpful staff.

not easy when you have 2 little kids

family room is big and our kids got their own proper beds

guests were a bit noisy, kids especially letting bedroom doors slam instead of closing them & shouting

we ordered room service and the food was absolutely excellent

breakfast was also spot on

and friendly staff, comfy bed, nespresso machine in the room, tasty breakfast, lovely garden and gorgeous hens

strong wifi too
