first night - lots of kids sitting around and playing at bottom of stairs as we came down from our room

garden was absolutely stunning, huge space, kids play area and views across the fields

the menu prices have gone down since the visit in february + brilliant wifi + attentive staff + beds

fresh towels on the bed and room service came in to freshen the bathroom up each

disabled access is good on the ground floor, gardens and parking, and as the hotel does not have a lift due to

plenty of on site parking

the staff were excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful, the evening meal & breakfast were superb &

the room, the service, the location and the bar and resteraunt plus the history need to stay longer than 1

food served was delicious, the evening meal menu didn't match the choice or value of the generous breakfast

the room itself was noisy from people going to and from the parking

we had to sit in the restaurant/bar area all evening with the kids

plenty of parking spaces

rooms are clean, plenty of coffee/tea, instructions for shower use & meal times were clear, free wifi included

food, quiet (but it wasn t a weekend or busy), could control the temperature, good bed linen, pet friendly

we went to bed, the main bed was covered in pet hairs on the sheets and pillows
