we had a family room booked 2 adults and 2 kids and we were given 2 towels

even the kids couldn't sleep on the sofa bed the springs dug in so badly

lovely view of the port. kids were really excited for their own bed. warm and cosy room.

comfortable beds, free car park and a small park for the kids in the beer garden

was lovely and great value for money we only stayed one night but will definitely be back the kids loved

family room was v small, we have 2 kids and 1 mattress was wedged alongside the double bed with the bedside

carpark not easily seen. noisy kids up until 10.00 (not down to hotel!)

although we could hear noise from the room above, possibly kids jumping

so friendly with our kids too

the rooms, service, parking and food was impeccable but the main reason we will definitely be returning is

the grounds were nice to walk around and play frisbee with the kids. hotel meals were good.

bar of the hotel was incredibly noisey, full of people who had drunk too much and lots of shouting

there was a live band on downstairs, in the room i couldn't hear them, the band was good, the bar was lively

couldn't of been friendlier and did warn us about the noise from the bar with the entertainment

wifi access point was plugged into a three pin outlet and just left on the landing floor

night noise from below bar and/or surrounding pubs went on until around 1am

games need up dateing could do with a kids play area like pool table table tenis need more vegetarian option

pillow was dirty. cold water in swimming pool for kids.

pub was used by some locals in the evening who were sat outside our window in the garden and the kids screamed

breakfast in hotel was excellent nicely cooked and

dogs and kids everywhere (within reason), pianos and cello practise a spontaneous surprise

breakfast was lovely - in fact, all the food was great - we ended up eating there four nights out

hotel, lovely clean room, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect will definitely be back and will

opposite the beautiful beach, gorgeous views, great dining room, fantastic staff, late night bar and drinks

the service was excellent in both the restaurant and bar area and the food was of an excellent standard

looking for parking was a drag, if you were a family with lots of bags and kids, it would be a hassle to have

covid measures seemed robust with room service breakfast (although a proper plate / tray etc would have been

nothing! parking is not available but is very close by - easy to look up before you travel.

the wifi and phone signals were non existent.

liked the location and the bar

the noise downstairs coming from the bar didn t really bother me and my 6 year old son as we are always out

the bar restaurant, food & proximity to town everything really

music din, in the evening, the bass beats from the bar did cause a sleep issue as it was going on till 12am

loved the double room for our kids

had a double room so the kids had a room to themselves, the room was clean and today and very spacious

nice pub downstairs, spacious bathroom with bath and shower, separate room for the kids with door, so could

nowhere to quietly sit and read , except the bar .

free wifi and parking was a bonus

it was conveniently located with great parking for the cathedral and town
