fantastic location and plenty of parking

our dog was made welcome by all the staff and was allowed in the bar where we ate

would have liked breakfast to start earlier but this was because we were leaving early

nothing too much trouble, breakfast

all staff were lovely and friendly and accommodate our early check in request as we were attending a wedding close by

there is a bar downstairs but you wouldn't have known that, couldn't hear anything and i was on the first

i liked how they have thought of the extra touches as we had kids with us there was refreshment options for them left in the room

brian, the owner, was very kind and generous with his time and allowed us to use the laundry facilities knowing that we'd been traveling for weeks

clean, comfortable bed and bedding! very accommodating for very early check in.

the beer selection in the bar is good and the wolf ale is stronger than you may think

the first two days we had breakfast in the bar area,it was a bit busy as they had a shooting team there

always kept the bar tidy and disinfecting

the bar served good draught beers and the menu was probably the best i have seen

the hosts were welcoming, you could go the public bar if feeling sociable or relax in the room which has microwave, kettle and fridge to store

no bar or restaurant open when we stayed so had to drive to the nearest town to find food

lack of dinning in the bar itself.

we had excellent fish -and-chips from next door,and keith invited us to eat them at his bar with his beer

i enjoyed the evening meal, cooked breakfast and the convenience of the free parking and wifi.

i had a large party for lunch and they easily accomodated us all even with kids and a dog in tow

location with many restaurants nearby, as well as the good bar facilities in the hotel

right in town centre always use this hotel food is excellent swimming pool and area very well

hotel is beautiful, stately, spotless, comfortable, spacious, warm in the winter, with secure parking, perfect for feeling pampered and special

the staff are very helpful and welcoming, the room was recently refurbished, the wifi is good, the bed is comfy, the hot water plentiful, and the full english breakfast really sets

it was our 10 year anniversary and this was a nice day and night away from the kids to celebrate

the gym and spa were the tops and just a 30 second walk from our room
