clearer signs of where the dogs are allowed in the bar area, there is a sign as you come in the door but i didn't notice it

lovely decor that made you feel comfortable in the bar and restaurant

would suggest that although dogs are allowed in the hotel and bar there are areas specifically for them and most importantly that owners must not allow them on

we checked in quite late with no trouble and the young lady behind the bar was incredibly accommodating and helpful with a number of things (food recommendations, parking (+)enjoyed my stay, friendly bar and lovely clean rooms (*) busy little bar downstairs that does food (+)old inn with a cosy bar in a great location (+)went to the bar area, lovely lady gave us the keys. (+) felt comfortable alone in bar and enjoyed sunday lucn (+)cozy, friendly bar and restaurant and comfortable, clean room all perfect. (-)no room in the bar at night but accept it is a public bar (-)no breakfast, bit of a shame and the bar closes at 9pm on sundays.

hotel has a bar and serves meals but we didnt use this facility as we were travelling around each day
