i appreciated the early check in free of charge

early check in at 11am for an extra £10 was ideal as we were travelling to a wedding 3 miles away

i have to say the noise from people shouting from the bar next door/underneath the room

receptionist and bar staff were very friendly and helpful

friendly staff and bar stocked with plenty of single malt whiskies

on site parking, we were given an early check in as weather was bad when we arrived

good but the scottish breakfast was great , pool table ,darts and a homely bar ,good off the road parking , will definitely stay there again

(+) felt very spoilt having the private car parking garage all to ourselves (+)undercover parking (-)car parking facilities may need upgrading. (+) garage parking for bikes is a bonus

the front of the building overlooks derwentwater, the pitch and putt and crazy golf green with the park

sometimes the wifi went off,but other than that first class

views from the south-facing rooms, these overlooked the small golf course and parks, with the lake mountain-side in the distance

hotel staff were able to accommodate an early check in for both our rooms which was really helpful as we were attending a wedding and
