i appreciated the early check in free of charge

early check in at 11am for an extra £10 was ideal as we were travelling to a wedding 3 miles away

i have to say the noise from people shouting from the bar next door/underneath the room

receptionist and bar staff were very friendly and helpful

friendly staff and bar stocked with plenty of single malt whiskies

on site parking, we were given an early check in as weather was bad when we arrived

good but the scottish breakfast was great , pool table ,darts and a homely bar ,good off the road parking , will definitely stay there again

went out way to allow us early check in so we could get organised for a wedding

the bar was fantastic too, again, with absolutely reasonable prices

there was limited choice on the menu, the food was excellent and the choice and food quality at breakfast was very good indeed

i loved the cooked breakfast and the friendly staff

the restaurant / bar for evening meals had a good selection, good quality and reasonably priced

being informed at check in and again after our evening meal that the bar was open late, only to be abruptly told by the night porter it was

allowed early check in and were very helpful and uncomplicated

accomodating my early check in request and making me a bacon sandwich to help me on my way for my walk when i left

excellent room service and food

the breakfast was superb and although we didn't eat in for dinner, the food looked amazing

room set up was quite nice, with 2 chairs and a desk, with cushions, good wifi and tv

all staff were lovely and friendly and accommodate our early check in request as we were attending a wedding close by

we went for a wedding nearby, and the staff were able to help arrange transport, offer us a late breakfast the day after (much appreciated) and a late check out

the restaurant and breakfast were great

staff were absolutely amazing and got our vroom ready early to allow us and early check in and to allow us to get changed for the wedding

wifi in our from was pretty much non existent

this hotel as we were at our wedding reception at the crichton golf club

3.50 tray charge for in room service. energy saving light bulbs - a torch would be stronger.

e kids were asleep so i didn't raise it at the time)

we were staying to attend a wedding in dumfries and the owners were accommodating in allowing us early check in to ensure we had time to get ready which we really appreciated

excellent value and very comfortable. good bar and good breakfast.

liked how friendly and helpful the staff were also the facilities we could use such as gym, sauna, and steam rooms

hotel accommodated our early check in allowing us to head off and enjoy a wedding

jam and bix of cereal couldnt get a hot breakfast as werent serving any returned at 11o clock no bar facilities all licked up let ourselves in the front door place in

spotless room. as a biker, i valued the quiet off road parking.

nice big clean room, comfy bed, great staff and good bar selection!

arrived ten ish straight to bed and up sharp and away so didn’t get time for chilling in bar etc but clean room fresh bed and would go back

was perfect bar was nice to sit and relax in rooms were spacious and clean and plenty of coffee tea bathrooms

they kept the bar open for us as we were residents

however, the sally accommodated having my room ready for an early check in as they were aware of my situation

very pleased we did excellent facilities and the room was very high end lovely restaurant and bar staff was very welcoming
