location is great so close to everything and yet quiet and relaxing i would add a a small bar near the pool at high season time but all in all the staff was amazing

the pool and garden was lovely - i wanted to stay so much longer

walking around to different wine yards during the day and then spend the rest of the day by the pool

the pool was unheated, so that was a bit cold but no other complaints whatsoever

if i had to be picky, then the lobby bar is a bit dull, but even that has a pleasant street view

didn't see the bar open in the time were there.

fabulous wine tasting with the badon wine shop, and so generous with offer of laundry and other amenities during our travels

wifi kept asking to login and on the last day didn't work at all.

i really enjoyed their little lounge areas, the garden/courtyard, their breakfasts, and free laundry service

the fact that all though the restaurant was fully booked the room service was very good.

the room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the vineyards - great pool and spa facilities and overall a magical place to stay

also, as a 5* you d expect the hotel to run a free shuttle into st emilion centre or

too far from st emilion and no shuttle

they also have a convenient shuttle van that can take you to and from st

and his crew were very accommodating and allowed us to check in, clean up, have a dip in the pool and relax with a glass of wine before calling us to an amazing dinner

under the stars, driving the jeep out into the middle of the vines for a lunchtime picnic

the pool was perfect as well

also the secure parking in the courtyard was perfect for our vehicle

the pool and facilities were definitely 5 star, our room was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable
