the breakfast was outstanding

staff were so friendly and helpful, selection of games available behind the bar which were available to play, this was good

from megan the beautiful border collie who knew exactly where the treats were on the bar and wasn't afraid to ask everybody to get her one

room was right above the bar so was quite noisy till about 11pm

parking was easy and the manager was very responsive to our requests

it's quiet at this time of year you can't rely on the bar being open til 11pm

check-in was a little clumsy as there is no dedicated check-in desk - we had to check in at the bar and we had to wait our turn to be 'served'

biggest downsides was that the restaurant was shut for refurbishment and the bar was not open as the manager was on holiday
