the staff could not accommodate an early check in, but they helped us with our luggage and brought it all up by the time we came to

good breakfast although there weren’t any extra napkins and plates/bowls etc were a bit scarce

not a lot to do in the old town but i would recommend a great bar called danontzat and a visit to the church

we had a great time afterwards in a local bar in a cobbled side street a few yards away

we got two connected rooms for the kids and they were over the moon with their 'welcome sweets'

is only minutes from san sebastian and france, good for adults or kids

a two minute walk down the steps to the harbour, they were steep but there was ample parking if you wanted to drive down instead

there’s no bar as it’s in a residential area and probably beyond walking to donastia, the area most would

not far from san sebastian, we drove up to the loiola train station, the last entry point where parking is free, and then it's seven minutes by train or thirty minutes on foot into the town
