the food was amazing, great bar and service

a comfortable bar area, nicely furnished and varied tables for food

the grounds are great, with a brilliant kids play area, lovely beer garden and some animals

the breakfast was delicious and the evening meal in the pub

one small thing, comfy seating like armchairs in the bar area would have been perfect, but not a complaint by any

the breakfast was made very quickly and was amazing

we slept in and missed our breakfast the

only thing i can think of is the coffee at breakfast could have been better

irish bar below is very vibrant and staff are lovely

checking in is done at the bar in the pub below and was very friendly and helpful, taken up to my room quickly and shown where

they offered quite a few little bits for breakfast too in the communal kitchen

there is a communal kitchen with a coffee machine and diy continental breakfast is provided which is a lovely touch

be aware that the rooms are located above a busy bar with live music and that it can therefore be a bit noisy within the opening hours of the

pool was great

4) towel radiator and heated mirror didn t work

pool was great large bed excellent grounds good staff

swimming pool was freezing but loved the outdoor jacuzzi

food standard was good. the pool and jacuzzis etc were very good. wifi was very good.

gives great experience, clean comfy room, nice pool, good breakfast / dinner

only small criticism would be the cooked breakfast was ok, either it should be less money or better value for money

bar offered a selection of food and

surroundings - clean modern buildings with excellent on site parking

access to adult only members bar was a plus

hosts (paul and sarah) were wonderful, the property is beautiful, breakfast was amazing and home-cooked, and the buxton town center is a short walk away

little cottages right in the centre and host accommodated early check in and fridge for us

early check in was brilliant thank you, enabling us to park early and explore

hotel steak restaurant and bar were also great

would have liked a mini bar in room but wouldn’t say this was something to dislike

all the staff from reception to bar staff helped to make the stay fantastic

comfortable rooms and nice sociable bar area

but as always, the bar service and staff were excellent
