they served a beautiful breakfast and helped us figure out an itinerary for visiting sights in the area

setting , look no further for a room this is stunning , plenty of public parking, typical french breakfast we will

wifi slow and unreliable, kept disconnecting small room.

the bar area was poor and no restaurant for evening meals

had a back room (onto garden, swimming pool) and extremely quiet (+) nice pool, garden, stairs and lift (+)staff, great pool and right opposite the beach (+) the swimming pool was never very busy , the water was warm & the garden was quiet & always somewhere to sit (+)nice location by the sea. nice pool. (+) the little swimming pool being open all day was a real bonus (+)which was bright, modern and had a lovely view (4th floor looking over the back of hotel) the pool was also nice (+) covered swimming pool in spacious garden

from dining reservations and suggestions to directions and room service

are in the process of building a bar area and they need a lounge area in which to relax after a day out and about

the room service was appalling and the food quality was terrible

bar was well stocked and again staff willing to help when requiring a drink

the late check out was great too

at night everyone is having drinks in the bar and lobby and it s a great energy

the wifi was very disappointing. we were unable to use more than one device at a time.

all as descript with very friendly host. bar closes at 6 pm.

having to pay for wifi in 2018 (at one euro per hour) is not good (-)bit basic, but very good for the price. wifi isn't free in the rooms. (+) wifi was ok (-) the wifi connection was poor in my room, fortunately my phone compensated (-) also the wifi access was not free as it is in most (-)we would not have required it on our stay tea facilities would be a nice touch, they already have wifi and tv but tea/coffee making facilities would have added that extra, but i m being fussy (-)wifi would not connect was in room 13 it was very windy and something was banging in the roof area (-)bathroom needs refurbishment. no tea or coffee in room. free wifi didn't work. (-)the bathroom was very small, the wifi did not work in spite of me twice requesting a connection (-)room had a dated feel. wifi erratic

we had 2 adjoining rooms, one of which had a kitchen

stayed in numerous hotels for 1 night stopovers to and from the ferry to caen and this hotel is bar far the best we've stayed in

we got all the things we need with a kitchenette room

10/10 breakfast is simple but definitely enough + view to garden/fields with cows and tall trees
