no secure parking. bar closed by 9.30 pm but bar next door open (just) (-)could only have a drink with food we had to go to the bar next door for a drink (-)the reception was closed we had to go to the bar next door for someone to give us our keys (*) central location has its own bar & restaurant, but many others within walking distance (+) the hotel has a good restaurant, and there is a tabac bar and cafe next door (+) if reception is closed you just pop to the next door bar and they sort you out (-)i would have liked some more facilities like a bar or lounge. the hotel is on the southern outskirts of caen near a lorry park, so not a scenic experience but convenient for main road links
