wifi didn t reach our upstairs room, improving this would be our only recommendation as

driving and parking was tight (as it is in the lakes) but we had an absolutely wonderful time

booked a 'spa' hotel, there was nothing to suggest that there were any spa facilities on the premises

bar and lounge areas are lovely and tables are well spaced so you re not on top of each other

state of hotel last time any money spent on it properly in 1980s very dated decor spa bath blew dirt out when

the room had a 4-poster bed, en-suite and a spa bath, with complimentary toiletries and drinks

what encouraged us to stay there was the location-however the very intermittent and challenging wifi were a big

no real ale beer on site and bar person ignored me as other staff were really friendly.

only things that require slight improvement are the spa facilities that are beginning to look a little dated
