good light lunch and breakfast

breakfast was great, as was dinner the night before. the staff were lovely.

ordinarily we would never stay anywhere that allowed dogs as non pet owners and ended up booking as it was

the bar is charming: comfortable, natural, friendly and old fashioned in the best way possible

tidy and pretty gardens with outside seating and bar area

i have also used spa facilities and really enjoyed the steam room and a hot tub

think the spa facilities should be free for paying guests

the hotel hve really nice spa facilities

will definitely be back to try out spa facilities as no time this visit

unfortunately, just toooo hot outside to use the spa facilities - like the hot tub, massages etc inside

the private garden with spa was perfect spot in the sun for relaxing and reading a book

there was even the option of a spa treatment at their other property a couple doors down, but we didn't do it

staff were very helpful and the room was large and airy with a spa bath (manhattan room), fridge and plentiful

narrow stairs for suitcases parking could be tricky, esp. in peak times spa did not turn on

i didnt use the spa but it's nice to know it there and maybe of i arrive with a bit more spare time next time

also the spa function did not work

with the latest designer refurbishment a victorian stand alone bath in the bedroom, virtual fireplace and 3 flat

was a little warm but the main thing was wifi was playing up, but that is being very picky

presented hotel , amazing breakfast, lovely bar tender who we enjoyed chatting with, would definitely return if

we ordered room service breakfast, which was very tasty and fresh

i think the trick to get close parking is to wait or circle and come back to see if a space becomes available

spacious room, comfortable king size four poster bed, powerful shower & spa bath

was fantastic, hosts were amazing, and room was lovely, although it didn't have the spa bath as advertised

i treated myself to the room with the spa bath & 4 poster bed & my friend had the other 4 poster bed room

was well-presented and comfortable; spa bath was brilliant

very small booked hotel for the spa advertised but has been closed for months breakfast very limited so had

no phone in the room for room service

be by the soft lumpy mattress which i ended up padding up with folded bath towels i got from room service

a free breakfast was included but as the kitchen was closed they d made up little bags of fruit, water, and

friendly reception and bar staff. excellent room. excellent location.

the process was smooth, the fact you can use the facilities of the gym/spa right up until 5pm after your 11am
