many thanks to one of the household staff who did our laundry late on a saturday afternoon

the rooms, building and grounds are all beautiful and the swimming pool was opened for us to use

spa was closed on sunday when we stayed, which was a disappointment

we spoke with reception staff (took time to explain how the leisure facilities are accessed) and bar staff (very helpful with advice about trying one of the beers) (+) the bar and restaurant staff was very caring and friendly (-)the only downside was the quality of the bar meal we had, and the small size of the bathroom. (+)staff were helpful and service in the restaurant and bar was good (+)good location for the road trip by car. facilities like swimming pool, bar and sauna. (+) the waiting staff in the bar and restaurant is exceptional, many of them could work for a guide michelin restaurant (+) bar staff /reception staff were efficient and friendly although the bar area itself was very cold (-) bar very noisy and insufficient staff so long wait to get served

you could not order lunch at your grand cafe and had to wait till 20h00 before you could order room service

the room: a/c was a bit noisy, bathroom towels were too limited, not much information about the room service or the hotel restaurant
