kettle in room 2 (our stay) didn't seem to work, so we had to use the shared kitchen's kettle

there is a communal kitchen with a coffee machine and diy continental breakfast is provided which is a lovely touch

live music in the bar was great, but no sound could be heard in the room

the lovely dining restaurant and bar area was spoiled by music that felt too loud, imposing and rather awful

it’s not a licensing issue at that time so to refuse 6 people a drink, including 3 kids, was harsh but not any flexibility with the supervisor or staff
