temperature of the swimming pool was cold & the shower water was boiling & we weren't able to adjust it

there is a great little bar in which to chill after a long drive

for the evening, the bar provided good real ale & an excellent selection of gin

the second night we had the same seating problem, they would not let us into the extended bar area, stating it was laid up for breakfast the following morning (again, 6pm at night)

service and advice from tracey on reception who managed our early check in before a funeral

staff throughout the hotels and bar were very polite and helpful
