i did not use the spa but it also has one

we arrived late in gc and drove to the hotel, a bit challenging to find the hotel and parking the dark, but the staff was very helpful

especially with kids

was clean and the food was delicious and there was a variety of items to complement the breakfast/lunch

the staff is super sweet and helpful with arranging outside services like laundry, drivers, etc

most importantly however is knowing that all money goes to their ngo supporting local kids to get an education

life the who,e concept, helping schools, helping kids

we could store our luggage and they could help us with our laundry very quick

breakfast was excellent but you have to place an order for it 15 minutes before you want to eat

wifi was temperamental, didn t always work. wish price was a bit less.

they were extremely accommodating allowing me to check in early after coming back filthy from an overnight volcano hike

the shower pressure, hot water yes, but no pressure, makes it difficult to shower, specially with kids

the pool is absolute highlight, specially when traveling with kids

the beds are a killer for your back, the rooms insolation inexistent, we spent 8 hours with out wifi and tv, tv does not work and only in spanish if you are lucky, i was locked in my room for one

best part of my stay was the fast wifi, the rest was just ok

great drinks and beer selection, great breakfast, incredibly helpful staff, a cute little terrace, and absolutely great live music in a

location and good vibes. bar open in nikikot.

the “continental” breakfast isn’t continental by american means (in usa a continental breekfast is an included

place; beautiful courtyard with seating and a fire lit in the evenings as well as two indoor bar areas (generous happy hour and decent beers on tap)

wifi not good

wifi was sometimes down

there was a wifi zone in my room, but i didn't really have much wifi coverage in my room

our kids really liked the playing area and the garden

there was a crying baby from 7am to 9am on sunday and running a shouting kids all day

wifi. variable. dropped al 3 of my devices frequently.

all three rooms had weak or almost zero wifi coverage

wifi worked quite well :)

poor wifi

the second one didn t have a good wifi connection and i found two roaches on the room

it was my first time in guatemala and the breakfast had all of my cells excited

i loved the rooftop terrace bar and the wonderful seating area for meals

rooftop terrace is amazing spot to drink fabulous mojito’s or sangria expertly made by the bar and gaze at the volcanoes super comfy bed and pillows

it’s a complex for weddings or celebrations where the family could stay, they don’t have pool or nice restaurants, they send you to porta hotel to use pool restaurants and it’s cheaper

when we arrived the bedroom they gave us only had one bed for two adults and 2 kids so they changed us, and that was ok, the thing is that when we

parking was far

spa on site and treatment was awesome

the space was clean and they provided enough towels, lounging areas and inflatables for the kids

plus, it's got parking inside the property

if you need an apartment with a washing machine and kitchen, this could be a good place for you

our 'room' was a two-story private apartment, with a full living room and kitchen in addition to the bathroom and two bedrooms

limited facilities like no spa or pool, bathroom could have been a bit more spacious

the second time, i was pleasantly surprised with a working spa bath in the room, which i absolutely needed

wifi didn t work, beds were uncomfortable, tried to give us a cheaper listed room than the one we

room was the last one available so near the front and the noise of the bar, the street, and neighboring dogs

but we ended up in a room right next to the maid's closet, laundry, and morning coffee machine

first room i was assigned was in a dark corner next to the laundry room

there is a shared kitchen you can make some oatmeal or instant coffee

prepared meals at the posada's kitchen but the some utensils (frying pan and pan) were old and not appropriated for cooking

room given to us was next to the maids room and next to the laundry room so you could here the staff chatting all the time and the laundry machines working all

also they charge 40q a lb for laundry which was literally outrageous

friendly and very helpful stuff and the convenient spot, the useful extra services like laundry and the nice breakfast

also positiv is, the terasse, the good coffee, breakfast and smoothie

they also offer meals, laundry service, and airport shuttle although all three are extra cost
