liked the timed pre-ordered breakfast as this cut down on waiting times, something we found difficult in other locations

played golf twice at shiskine which was magical with the views

the lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views

been to arran before and we were pleased that we'd chosen a hotel close to the amenities and the golf course in brodick (but with no sea view)

this hotel several times over last 19 years so a bit disappointed with this stay and floor , also late check out on a saturday and cleaner decided to hoover our floor outside room at 8:30am

(+) the short walk to sauchiehall st we didn't mind, the 24hr bar and pool table were handy and utilised by us (+) the 24 hour restaurant and bar was also great if we got hungry (+) the bar didn't close so we could socialise when we got in (-) we especially liked the reception and bar area, the provision of snacks and the little touches , candles on the tables and general (-) access to the bar whilst we waited for coach parties to go up kept us calm
