lack of on site parking

the staff and proprietors really made us feel welcome and the excellent food and well stocked bar was much appreciated

the sea views, the otters, the seals, the breakfast, the beer...

warm welcome, great views, excellent facilities, superb breakfast.

we had a great evening mixing in the bar with the friendly staff, residents and locals

the soft play area and pool were especially popular with the kids

coffee and toast were not served at the table all the facilities well maintained and plenty of parking

didn't know there is laundry facilities

bag drop at ferry terminal was a big help as was the complementary shuttle service from the

wifi was a bit patchy

good eat on 4 single rooms for a golf outing

the lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views

however if you want to drink at the bar or eat a meal then you have to leave your dog in the car or in your room

was a breakfast bar with, cereals, toast, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juice

noisy locals in the bar blocking doors and route in and out although the area was not busy

staff very welcoming. bar food delicious. location and rooms excellent.

food so nice we ate every night in the bar rather than go elsewhere

the room was clean and warm and the bar food and breakfasts were excellent

car park was a bit of an issue as the result of selfish parking

food and drink on offer in the bar and bistro was excellent

wifi wasn't working in the bedroom my phone only had emergency calls luckily hotel phone in bedroom

the wifi was rubbish

breakfast included a menu of cook to order dishes, much prefer this to a hot buffet

onsite restaurant (especially the complimentary breakfast), the rooms were spacious and well furnished and the views were outstanding

breakfast was excellent also view from room was magnificent looking forward to going back

early check in was a bonus after climbing goatfell

good breakfast and evening meals in a well controlled environment

particular lorna in the family and pet friendly lounge bar was very child friendly she asked my 5 year old daughter (with parental consent forst) if she

perfect: the castle and the estate were beautiful, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the breakfast and dinner were delicious and the room had a beautiful view on the loch

the restaurant and bar were fantastic and the staff was very warm and welcoming

the bar is so atmospheric and there is plenty of lounge space either in the library, the expansive hall

excellent breakfast also
