no bar or restaurant open when we stayed so had to drive to the nearest town to find food

we had excellent fish -and-chips from next door,and keith invited us to eat them at his bar with his beer

the hosts were welcoming, you could go the public bar if feeling sociable or relax in the room which has microwave, kettle and fridge to store

although it only had a bar with no hot food it did have its own convenience store

staff gave us another key along with our room so we didn't have to keep going through the bar downstairs, which was great

lovely close knit little community ( from what we seen whilst using the bar facilities)

we had dinner and breakfast, and both were good-sized portions

we ate down in the bar that night, it was a pizza night, and gluten free was highlighted on the board when we walked

also there is a bar directly below so there may be the expected noise

the bar prices were quite expensive

accomodation was great, food was great, bar and beer garden were great and the hospitality team were awesome

good, but added to an already quite expensive stay, so we made use of our own well equipped kitchen in the cottage after
