did feel the spa was lacking without a swimming pool
if you are wanting somewhere which gives you great food, service, cleanliness and amazing spa and gym facilities while on amazing spectacular grounds then you should book here

the bedroom was great, bed and pillows comfy, plenty of hot water in the shower, and wifi was excellent
quite slow but the young man serving was working on his own, serving non residents as well as room service

bar manager was amazing friendly and calm, he seemed to hold the place together very well
about the room just made it seem a little sad and an afterthought compared to the restaurant and bar which have been made to look pretty stylist

prosecco on arrival, valet parking and a warm welcome (getting stuck in a storm), we were welcomed by lovely staff who took care of everything (even parking my car for me which was a lovely touch) and sat us down with some bubbly whilst we checked
we ate in for both dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious
we loved the tennis courts(one normal, one kids size), the apiary, the garden, the road in via mature woodland was magnificent
no pool or spa facilities
is as it s a pricey stay, it be nice to have additional facilities such as a hot tub or spa for the ultimate relaxation experience

the staff went out of their way to feed us when we arrived late, after the kitchen had closed
