it's a lovely old pub with an atmospheric bar and great draught beer, located in a pretty village

friendly welcome throughout the whole stay from the lady who showed us the accommodation, to the bar & restaurant staff

a wonderful parkrun along the seafront and the hotel was really accommodating allowing us a late breakfast after our parkrun

came to devon to visit very sick relatives in barnstable hospital

appreciated the good parking and location in the centre of barnstaple

we used room service twice in the evening - also very good prompt service i went running for three mornings

we had a few drinks in the bar in the evening, again the staff and service was faultless

my room was comfortable and clean with good room service, cleaning, and maintenance
