friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed, warm room, nice shower, delicious evening meal and breakfast

meal was good and served in the bar which had a super feel for our meal with a friend

that new or inexperienced staff could do with additional support or training around the food and bar menus/service

we stayed with kids and a toddler and felt very welcome

also the wine had to be purchased from the bar by the guest

private parking was a huge plus as melrose can be a parking nightmare until the tour busses and tourists

parking could possibly be a problem in high season but we managed to get a space right outside the

swimming pool with warm water , kids friendly

even my teenage kids enjoyed themselves and definitely want to stop again

setting, lovely facilities, friendly staff, excellent fiod, bed was very comfortable, wifi was strong everywhere

shame the pool and sauna were unavailable. our room service order was not as we had ordered.

after a work night out the meal was lovely,very friendly staff and owners and a big cooked breakfast in the

bar area was very friendly, dave and his staff made us feel very welcome

first floor room was above bar so a little noisy until closing.
