breakfast was excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming

a welcome change from the more crowded areas of the lake district, and the hotel has ample parking

fantastic food, great pint (guinness) and dog friendly. parking very easy. would stay again!

there were a large number of laundry bags left in the hallway for around 2-3 days which obstructed the route

laundry bags dumped on chairs in public areas making in

my room was accessed through a laundry room and a lounge that felt like a set for the young ones

laundry and very difficult to manoeuvre ourselves and our bags around them

especially the man at the desk during check-in when he assisted with parking permit

we were told that all the hotels dining options weren t dog friendly and we had to order room service instead

the food was suberb, i had room service from the bar restaurant, nice sized

interior of the whole place is magic specially the bar room

the corridor immediately outside was filled with laundry bags and rolls of carpet, the space should definitely

only thing might serve tea coffee at table so you have it there with your fried breakfast just in case it is

i loved the swimming pool and steam room etc

we didn't use the spa facilities so we can't comment on them wish we had more time
