on arrival we found a bag full of dirty laundry in our room and on reporting this to reception received no

wifi signal wasn t the best and also where my room was, my 4g didn t work very well either so

girls in the bar went over and above with my requests xx i've stayed here twice now and will continue to do so

additionally, there was ample parking available, which made the experience even more convenient

some hotels started thinking about having a small area where books and board games were kept for kids as in

early check in, friendly staff, clean.

breakfast was delicious and very well run under this very heavy government guidelines

they didn't even mind us wandering across reception and up to the 5th floor to the bar in our pjs when there

the bed was comfortable, the gym was well equipped, the electric bard is exceptional and the room service food

the location of the room right next to the laundry room wasn t ideal and was pretty noisey.

and our labrador 'dougal' was treated like royalty, with regular treats of sausages from the kitchen and lots

also all the kitchen extractor fans and associated noise and smells

done had a nice size bedroom and excellent size bathroom with walk in shower and bath staff in bar and restaurant

beds comfy, wifi and large tv in each room with lots of channels such as netflix, bbc iplayer etc

also the room was above reception so the early morning laundry delivery woke us up on both mornings

the main problem was the noise, we think our room must have been near the laundry room or boiler room as heard

i couldn't find the price for room service breakfast in the room and was a bit surprised by the cost and add

the room was at the back of the hotel overlooking what looked like a laundry or rubbish crate!!

and the view from the window was three laundry containers so the bedding didn't appear to be being stored in

we knew we would be out all day so needing a phone near the bed to keep us in contact with our kids was important

wifi connection was poor and trying to pay for parking was terrible no signal on the machine and

what to expect given the rundown decor and poor cleanliness which culminated with a pile of dirty laundry bags

our room was next to bags and bags of laundry which were stacked on the floor in the corridor

there is car parking onsite and has cctv around the car park which is nice to see

this is only a minor downside though and kids found it fun to go through all the doors

only problem was no soundproofing so got woke at 7am by kids running around upstairs

out every night i wanted a bit of peace and quiet after travelling all day, i therefore had room service for
