have beautiful gardens at this property and have an incredible view when we ate breakfast in the morning

again apart from that the view from the tarrasse is phenomenal and the concept of the honest bar is great

kitchen was a great addition to the room, showers were wonderful and the beds were comfy best thing

used the laundry service as some things got dirty when we were hiking and there was nothing to complain

swimming pool was on the cold side!

it is a pleasure having breakfast (good selection of food) on the terrace overlooking the pool - and dinner as

had no wifi reception in the room (like most other guests we spoke to) and had to sit in the lobby to get

room service was a bit patchy

the free shuttle ride to the town was very much appreciated but we also caught the bus to and from funchal

the breakfast was very nice, always a good choice of fresh fruit, bread, meat and cheeses and cooked
