enjoyed the cozy little seating areas outside as well as the real fireplace, with a welcoming fire in it

the owner even made us a couple drinks at the bar when we arrived

maybe a tv in the room. wifi was weak when many users were on.

advice: there did not seem to be enough parking at hillside to accommodate all of the guests

front door to our unit had a glass front which let in the light from the parking lot until late in the evening

main house looked very quaint. we stayed in the cooks cottage. parking was not an issue.

my friend was having trouble connecting to the wifi, and she said something to the effect of

room seemed outdated and had a urine/pet smell. usually prefer hotels that do not allow pets

was only one woman in the kitchen and dining, so there were dirty tables and shortage of food

staff was super friendly, hotel is pet friendly with a large side lot to walk them

wifi was not easy to get access to breakfast service was super slow

my lobster ravioli were freezing cold and uncooked… kids burger tasted disgusting

only negative was we booked a lake view room and were not given a lake view but a view of the parking lot

check in, very clean , room service , they provide turn down service , robes in room were a nice touch

they had a good continental breakfast.
