hotel, greaat rooms, great gym and golf course for those who are inclined to want to use it

free sauna/steam room and pool as well as access to a large and well equipped gym

i used the gym (twice) during my one night stay (+) great facilities, gym, marvellous historic building with an interesting back-story (-)gym was a bit rubbish; machines didn't work properly. (-)for my one night stay everything was fine. had i stayed longer a gym/spa would be very helpful. (+) gym good (i'm new to the uk so not familiar) it would be great to add paper towels or towels to use in the gym to be able to wipe down the equipment and have water dispenser available would be ideal (-) noise from the gymnasium coming through into the bedroom (+)great little bar! original features, nicely refurbished, decent gym and friendly welcoming staff (+)good quality hotel with great staff. facilities good, and gym a bonus. the gym was very basic with a couple of machines and not much else

everything was clean and recently refurbished the gym was well equipped

fitness room was very poor no weights or dumbbells above 4 kg there is room to place a multi gym just needs to looked at as a lot of guests like to

nice pool , gym was small but well equipped and very good value on half board

found it expensive, because the machines of the gym are old and bad to use, in a week i was only one day

stay long enough to check out spa/gym as this was only a quick visit, surprising friends on way home to scotland

liked, the facilities, there s a gym and restaurants and bar
