hotel, greaat rooms, great gym and golf course for those who are inclined to want to use it

free sauna/steam room and pool as well as access to a large and well equipped gym

the gym was closed for refurbishment whilst we were there

i used the gym (twice) during my one night stay (+) great facilities, gym, marvellous historic building with an interesting back-story (-)gym was a bit rubbish; machines didn't work properly. (-)for my one night stay everything was fine. had i stayed longer a gym/spa would be very helpful. (+) gym good (i'm new to the uk so not familiar) it would be great to add paper towels or towels to use in the gym to be able to wipe down the equipment and have water dispenser available would be ideal (-) noise from the gymnasium coming through into the bedroom (+)great little bar! original features, nicely refurbished, decent gym and friendly welcoming staff (+)good quality hotel with great staff. facilities good, and gym a bonus. fitness room was very poor no weights or dumbbells above 4 kg there is room to place a multi gym just needs to looked at as a lot of guests like to

gym is really disappointing unless you are looking just for a trade mill or a bike

found it expensive, because the machines of the gym are old and bad to use, in a week i was only one day

spa a gym facilities were very good

stay long enough to check out spa/gym as this was only a quick visit, surprising friends on way home to scotland

found the lady at the gym facility very rude as when i asked something she seems more interested in the guy stood in
