wish i knew they were doing renovations, bar was closed

kids running up& down the halls,knocking on doors

large amount if kids running halls all hours banging on our door screaming. very disruptive.

woman at the bar didn't seem to want to work

breakfast was a mess not enough help to keep it going for the volume of people staying at the hotel

time and for i paid for was not expecting a full kitchen and large bath

pool. the room was huge and had a little kitchen with a full size fridge.

kitchenette cabinets had no knobs. all dishes stored overhead and was unreachable by someone 5'3

staff person, fabulous comfy room and a great breakfast

the location was perfect for us as we wanted to be near the des moines golf and country club

staff members who were responsible for the laundry started talking extremely loudly with each other at 5:30 am, standing opposite end of the

laundry facilities - the vending machines ran out of detergent and its been two days now without

not clean in hallways and floors and dirty sox laying on floor of entry to laundry room

noisy. out room was next to laundry facilities.

shuttle from the hotel to the solheim golf course a mile and a half away

we were at the solheim cup so perfect location for des moines golf & country club

golf tournament is only once every four years

only disappointment was the lack of a hot tub in the spacious pool area that contained a decent sized pool

kids running in hallway late at night

high fee for having a pet. kids make more of a mess than my pet.

i will definitely go back and the pool was very clean as well with a nice room temperature

had a great stay and the grandsons loved the pool

over $16 per person for breakfast for a kids that don’t even eat that much

pool was cold.

was across the street the golf course-our destination for the trip, room was in excellent shape, clean, breakfast was very

willow creek golf course across the road

there is a nice golf course right across the street

close to downtown, the airport, and i35, but nestled in a quiet area near a golf course

the golf course next door (willow creek) is straightforward and easy to navigate

pool and park was designed for small children

the restaurant inside had great pizza and the tiki bar had great drinks

absolutely love this hotel perfect for kids and adults and the staff is absolutely amazing i would recommend this hotel to anybody

there is a tiki bar for the adults

our room was perfect and we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

the kitchen was a dream - a small full-sized fridge, dishes, a dishwasher, sink and cupboards

shuttle to airport.

the shuttle was dirty and the staff seemed distracted

really loved how shuttle would take and pick you up anywhere with in about a 3 miles radius!!

no room service (minor complaint) (+) ordered room service for dinner and surprisingly excellent (-)bfast room service and the food (french toast) was cold and hard

maybe make the shuttle run on sundays. we ran into a snag because of that.

strong chlorine smell from pool

liked they honored the quiet times i also enjoyed that there were almost no kids

we sat outside our room on the catwalk and enjoyed a drink while watching our kids play in the pool

the bar and restaurants hours... it wasn't open long enough

close to the airport and has it's own shuttle

the coffee bar was astounding, flavorful and a warm welcoming experience

rooms, lobby, and bar made us feel like we were in a very high class hotel

no gym.

tried the bananas foster french toast via room service, and it was well worth the $$ spent

beds were comfortable, great location!! shuttle was very nice and the driver was excellent!

we enjoyed their bar the night before

parking lot was closed but they had alternate parking just across the street.

downtown location, excellent shuttle service and the food was a real surprise

was freezing cold (kids and i couldn’t swim for longer than 10 minutes because it was so cold), and the jacuzzi was

great bed. excellent kitchen. very close to principal park. you can easily walk with kids.

room. pool and spa. i would not allow glass beer bottles in that area.
