a lovely bar downstairs with a great restaurant

i was told i could come into the bar and watch the tv they had there

bar had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere

it was close to where i was working, the food in the bar was very good.

although a pub i heard no noise from the bar even on a busy friday night

overall a very pleasant overnight stay not far from the golf club where we were invited to a party

was in the area for a golf day at nearby rockliffe hall

spa facilities was amazing wish we come earlier to use more food was amazing staff amazing bed was

staff were very welcoming on check in and on the bar when we got a drink, we even spoke to housekeeping who couldn't do enough

we ate in the bar and the meals were very good

this hotel now for many years either as a family or just as a couple gettn away from the kids

have stayed here many times always satisfied with our stay bonus having the use of the swimming g pool

bar and restaurant gets very busy at the weekends so can be a bit noisey there from the overspill

was no room service or literature of any kind about the local area and places to visit or things to do

the location, the hotel itself, the food, the parking.

staff braying the door screaming room service even after i told them it was fine, i d had a late check in and didn t need clean

there is bar meal option for more casual dining - though the bar is relatively small and cosy / intimate so

little point went into bar asked for a bottle of malbec but didn t have one but it was on drinks list

no fresh milk even thou there in a mini fridge in the room.no turn down service or room service.

it was huge, had multiple lovely seating areas, a beautiful view of the golf course, the

our 70s , brought back so many memories of what places used to be like atmosphere was brilliant , bar staff friendly locals friendly , saturday night was busy , for the price we paid we loved it ,

also the mini golf was covered in rabbit droppings , and the garden benches by the mini golf were broken

its a great hotel with plenty of parking close to darlington but set in beautiful

the bar in the hotel's limited drinks feels a bit like a café but the health club is better

stay here again, and would pay for the facilities next time as there is small charge to use the gym and the pool

pool is only avaialble for guests at the same time as public so dont go and plan on taking kids in the morning unless your
