i stay here once a year for a golf trip, and will do so again

lovely warm welcome with a fantastic room and cracking breakfast with excellent covid 19 customer care

staff, great atmosphere, comfortable and well-appointed room, great bar with good choice of local ales, superb grub especially the biryanis, music wasn't to loud and

room was amazing and extremely spacious,huge bed,large bath,and good selection of beers in the bar with a pleasent

we booked the spa for saturday and again all the staff were fabulous and made us feel very welcome

breakfast was very nice, the beer was very good, my girlfriend loved the swimming pool and the room was spot on

reserved parking for residential guests as the bar area and restaurant was busier on the friday evening with locals and parking was a bit tight

every staff member from check-in, to bar staff, to restaurant staff were exceptional

parking is just on the main road where you find a place

orangery, the food was good but the clubhouse was expensive for what it is - a clubhouse for a golf course

when going for our evening meal we were offered a ride down to the golf club and back after

to dislike really, although walking across to the golf clubhouse in the rain as the only dinner option wasn t great

breakfast - awesome, pick what you want and its made for you oming down in the morning, totally

was lovely and spacious, the food was delicious and all of the staff were brilliant including all bar staff, kitchen staff and housekeeping staff

stayed in the one bed apartment, on entering it seemed very pleasant and nice and warm but the kitchen was very grubby crumbs all over the worktops, oven was dirty and the fridge was balanced on

once ordered, food was extremely slow out of the kitchen

overall we were very pleased with this hotel and are considering rebooking and bringing the kids to have a couple of days in hexham

wifi didn t connect in our room, they had just changed supplier and was having a few issues, it

parking was a bit tricky but a large car park is a few minutes walk away.

i had a large party for lunch and they easily accomodated us all even with kids and a dog in tow

breakfast was great ,just right for start of the day. location was ideal for our golf weekend.

all the staff were really friendly and great with the kids

our party to stay in the family room had 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 9 years old) and when the kids climbed into bed for the night the bottom bunk collapsed with the 7 year old in it

possibly first impression having to walk into the bar and karaoke was a little off putting but the rest of the stay was great

we initially booked a table for dinner then changed our minds as we were shattered and asked for room service

and it was lovely -- but the extra delight of being in the castle would have been fun for the kids

accomodation was great, food was great, bar and beer garden were great and the hospitality team were awesome
