a double room and when i was shon my room, it was a whole apartment - 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen/living room area

the hotel is only 5 minutes from the excellent appleby golf club

good location for an annual golf trip but within easy reach of the lakes

didn’t agree with residents having pay to use the pool.

music played in the bar during breakfast was proper 1980s / 1990s for adults and just the right volume - none of that

was lovely and spacious, the food was delicious and all of the staff were brilliant including all bar staff, kitchen staff and housekeeping staff
