i stay here once a year for a golf trip, and will do so again

lovely warm welcome with a fantastic room and cracking breakfast with excellent covid 19 customer care

staff, great atmosphere, comfortable and well-appointed room, great bar with good choice of local ales, superb grub especially the biryanis, music wasn't to loud and

room was amazing and extremely spacious,huge bed,large bath,and good selection of beers in the bar with a pleasent

we booked the spa for saturday and again all the staff were fabulous and made us feel very welcome

the young boy behind the bar was miserable and made serving our drinks look like a chore he didn't want to do

reserved parking for residential guests as the bar area and restaurant was busier on the friday evening with locals and parking was a bit tight

stay at slaley hall and for our most recent stay we had a lovely room with a great view of the golf course

great hotel with excellent facilities and golf courses

also liked the high standard of golf and it’s facilities

we couldn’t use the golf practise facilities and the trolleys ran out

the place was easy to find and parking was good too

signal did not work struggled with wifi signal if your staying for work and need good internet probably not the right

on street parking in front, good sized very clean & well decorated room with good facilities for our short

parking is just on the main road where you find a place

excellent food and breakfast would definitely recommend it and we will go back there next time we are that way

it is not far from a golf course of which i will play some time

the hotel gardena and the exterior paintwork need attention. whats happened to the golf course?

i stood at the bar 45 minutes waiting to be served

the bar and restaurant area was incredible comfy and welcoming. 2 roaring log fires.

breakfast was ok, good choice, however, we had to ask for butter for toast and no sauce available

staff from bar to cleaners were exceptionally polite and eager to help in any way

the breakfast was excellent and the food served in the restaurant and bar was outstanding

great service, great food and a well stocked bar with local ales and a wide range of quality wines and spirits

hotel was beautiful, from the warm cosy bar to the top quality restaurant, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and very

to dislike really, although walking across to the golf clubhouse in the rain as the only dinner option wasn t great

when going for our evening meal we were offered a ride down to the golf club and back after

if it s not on the menu we were late for dinner so the bloke on reception drove us there in a golf buggy and picked us up

overall we were very pleased with this hotel and are considering rebooking and bringing the kids to have a couple of days in hexham

wifi didn t connect in our room, they had just changed supplier and was having a few issues, it

room 1 is above bar so it is noisy on busy nights

to have the choice of a full vegetarian breakfast on the breakfast menu, portion was large, very filling

no dedicated parking.

good, but added to an already quite expensive stay, so we made use of our own well equipped kitchen in the cottage after

the lady behind the bar was so lovely and helpful

my husband is very keen on good real ale and he wasn't disappointed by the selection at the bar either

eat in bar with dog so although dogs allowed on property this meant travelling elsewhere to eat as

a really great stay, fully appreciated the early check in on a very rainy day

fridge so that we could have fresh milk for drinks/breakfast, which we could access more from the bar when needed
