wifi was very weak

reception, bar, restaurant and spa areas seem to have been recently refurbished and are very nice

good parking, excellent restaurant and bar

disappointing there are no kids options for breakfast every person no matter the age is

a couple of rooms and a corridor near the gym were clearly being redecorated/redeveloped at the time of our visit, but we weren't disturbed

for us, excellent service provided by all departments

place and surroundings spa was value for money with a fabulous brunch to finish

the pool being open till 10pm was also amazing as we had an evening swim and it was just so relaxing

my welcome from both the landlord and his bar manager could not have been better - and that great service continued throughout

downstairs has a lovely bar with a log fire, frequented by locals, amazing for a good natter

the bar and restaurant serves lovely food and the quiz night when we stayed was very good

sauna gym spot on unfortunately could not book treatments as they are booked well in advance and golf course look well inviting except for the torrential rain but will be back to play ( plus had (+)big room. access to patio overlooking golf course. food excellent. staff helpful. (+) really nice room (albeit slightly dated) with a view over the golf course (-)golf bar (+)being served a hot breakfast in a restaurant overlooking the golf course and through the valleys was a spectacular way to start the day (+) it was super comfortable with a lovely view over the golf course (+) the views of the golf course from the room were beautiful (+)views from bar/breakfast room of golf course (+)room with great views of the golf course and a balcony (+)staff, very clean hotel our room was amazing and very spacious with a varanda over looking the golf course perfect day and night can t wait to stay again

the hotel also has a good gym, pool and golf course as well as a really high quality restaurant

the bar closed to early

it has everything you need from a gym to a pool table.

were quiet, great black out blinds, bathroom kept really clean, staff friendly, very happy with kids eat free offer & pool facilities were kept in clean

liked the use of the pool/sauna etc. kids loved it

only stayed one night for nearby wedding at golf club which was about 3 min taxi ride away - busy winding road tho so wouldnt walk

buffet breakfast was better

we didn t play golf but may well return to do so another time
