the bar and restaurant serves lovely food and the quiz night when we stayed was very good

my welcome from both the landlord and his bar manager could not have been better - and that great service continued throughout

downstairs has a lovely bar with a log fire, frequented by locals, amazing for a good natter

kids day loved the pool

staff were lovely and helpful especially sara and jamie and the guy behind the bar whose name i didn t get

the room was well appointed and the wifi connection allowed me to work from my room

it's every friendly place to be in and good for value of money aprt from a drink in the bar tho

the bar in the pub was very entertaining and the locals are so friendly

i used the gym in the morning that has all that you need for a quick work out ( mostly cardio equipment, one (-)room was a little small, and the gym is a separate building (-) gym was adequate, so don't expect too much, fine for a workout (-)gym could be in better condition but it served my needs so certainly nothing major and in no way (+)really good size room. great views. small gym was a bonus. (-)the gym was a bit small but all eqt working (-)no gym (-)a steam room and sauna would be a great addition. near the gym area (-)gym condition not kept to standard of rest of hotel, equipment visibly dirty and treadmill rusted

rather fussy registration for wifi. slight irritation that the restaurant closed so early.

lower ground floor too close to the spa , there was a smell coming from the sauna which permeated the

kids loved having access to the pool and we managed to use the pool 3 times over the weekend

we enjoyed the pool, sauna, and jacuzzis, while my husband was very impressed with the two large golf courses and driving range

i liked the fact the resort had the bonus of a spa, swimming pool and gym included and the golf course
