it doesn't do cooked breakfast but we wouldn't have had one anyway

they went out of their way to facilitate an early check in. room was great and staff lovely.

the first time i came alone, but this last time i came with my family (we have two little kids)

room had a door direct to the garden, big garden to sit outside, nice for the kids, nice and very friendly

kids had a great time watching the birds and squirrel have their breakfast as well

i ate in the morse bar - i was dining alone so preferred that to the slightly more formal alice restaurant

the whole ambience of the hotel was lovely. i especially enjoyed my morse bar cocktail!

the pool changing room felt dirty

the kids loved the pool and the food/service was good most of the time

small gym, smelly, pool reeking of chlorine vapours, and very noisy with splashing and screaming kids, when i visited

had one evening meal (adults and kids menu) and didn't return

the bar is just what we expected, comfortable with a good selection of beers and wine

only slight issue was that it took a long time to get served at the bar as only 2 staff were serving and people from the large group were ordering very large rounds

there was a variety of things eg exercise classes, golf, spa

too impressed with the main restaurant but food in the golf club bar/restaurant was good

close to the outlet village for my wife whilst i had a relaxing round of golf we have stayed there before and will definitely go

suggestion is to make clear where the public footpaths are outside around the golf course

it would have been useful to have a golf umbrella to get get to room1 in the rain

can’t fault it really, the perfect getaway for a couple who have left the kids at home

staff and service exceeded our expectations very helpful with three kids under 10 and the rooms are very nice and they have all the needed amenities

wish the cozy bar was open later than 10 or that the beer garden was open during our stay!
