a double room and when i was shon my room, it was a whole apartment - 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen/living room area

tvs in the bar were a low point and distracting but im aware some people actually like this.

the hotel is only 5 minutes from the excellent appleby golf club

good location for an annual golf trip but within easy reach of the lakes

didn’t agree with residents having pay to use the pool.

had the garden room which was lovely, it had two bedrooms, a large well fitted out kitchen, nice sitting room and a conservatory

the receptionist was very friendly when we booked in, offering secure room for our golf clubs and trollies rather that taking them all upstairs to our room

foul language being used in the sports bar from a group of golfers (yes golfers) who announced they were from south yorkshire, who also were intimidating to

the extra facilities - pool, steam room etc - were very well presented and easily accessible and provided a relaxing end

the gym and spa facilities were good and relaxing

you needed to book to use the swimming pool and we had too little time to do that

the location was excellent, the spa was excellent and the overall experience was outstanding

and kind staff, nothing was ever to much comfortable bed, hot power shower can t fault the room service

there is always swim classes for kids at the pool so felt like we were disturbing them

was lovely and spacious, the food was delicious and all of the staff were brilliant including all bar staff, kitchen staff and housekeeping staff

my husband is very keen on good real ale and he wasn't disappointed by the selection at the bar either
