we stayed in had personality with a safari theme and bunk beds for the kids

plenty of parking and easy to get to, yet still secluded enough for a peaceful stay

room was spacious with strong wifi very comfortable bed and the added bonus of a sofa in my room

wifi is not available in some of the rooms and poor in the downstairs area

really nice atmosphere throughout the lounges, bar and restaurant areas - lots of comfy areas to read a book/have a quiet drink etc

near to everything the spa was amazing and we loved everything about it especially the thermal pool and the outside pool

we were in bar and a non- resident customer had asked for a biscuit with their tea and were told this was not

i had to rush off as i booked the hotel as a late booking to play golf early the following morning

great for buxton attractions and cavendish golf club

also as is on a hill with great views, could have a golf buggy type service so guests did not have to climb the steps or slope to car parks, but again

not sure they should advertise room service and food available until 10 when they don't supply these things

i love the down to earth luxury. the decorations of the spa/pool area have improved it a lot.

the bed and the pillows are really comfy - cleanliness - staff agreeable and flexible for late check out and always there to help - the parking is huge and free next to university campus -

the bar room is marvellous and quite unique, we had a lovely stay and will return

i travelled for business as i expected wifi to a standard required for business. even using the

amazing wifi which suits me needing it for business use on my stay lovely location and

there is no room service available which was a shame.

could see how some people wouldn’t like the boystrous nature of the golf club but for me that added to the experience and introduced me to a whole new
