the biggest issue was i had booked 2 rooms and mentioned in the comments of my booking that i had kids and needed a connected room - they didn't get that message from bookings - which frankly

we didn't ask for an early check in, we did arrive a couple hours early and we were set up in a room right away

the rooms aren't huge, this hotel is a wonderful base to explore san francisco, especially with kids
