staff were extremely helpful, storing our golf clubs safely overnight and carrying them to the car the next day

the surprise bonus a of delightful roof terrace overlooking the golf course, to relax with a drink, really made it special

for money, only 10 minute walk into the heart of burford and just round the corner from burford golf club

location of burford lodge is ideal because it is located on the a40, very near to the golf club, garden centre and burford village centre, it is easy to locate from the main road

i booked specifically as we have stayed in this room previously and it is amazing, with a lovely spa bath

have been happier, collette was so kind offered to help with my bags, telling me about the bar and restaurant etc

the food (breakfast and dinner) was exceptional

it would have been useful to have a golf umbrella to get get to room1 in the rain

it was fabulous to gather there everyday for a sumptuous breakfast and again in the evenings for dinner

we didn't book the breakfast option when booking the room, but you are able to have breakfast if you decide to do so,

if you stay in room 5 (lovely room) be aware the room above is a family room and running kids make a lot of noise

beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and the restaurant and bar were a highlight

the wifi it was alittle bit hit and miss, but it did not ruin our stay.

we stayed in trumpeter cottage - perfect for a holiday with kids - parents could have some privacy:) food in the restaurant local sourced and super delicious

the gentleman at the front desk didn t even know if room service was available & wasn t bothered to show us our cottage , just handed over our keys

were lots of tourists and there was no space for parking in the parking area of the hotel

the locals not so much with the paying customers of the hotel, have recommended this hotel to our kids and friends especially the lovely reception lady and would come to chipping norton again in a

for us, the hotel happily accommodated all my requests of preferring a bath and needing an early check in and late check out which i was very grateful for

the only downside was that the bar drinks were high
