venue, room and really nice surroundings of golf course, wildlife and converted stables

room was lovely and clean overlooking the golf course

noisy early morning due to golf course maintenance however, this is to be expected.

one staff on when we came to check in, they were serving in the bar as well, very busy as open mic had started same time as checking

did ask the young girl at the bar early in the day she stated that the cleaner was just going up now

very central in chester. the bar has a great band on a saturday night.

we loved the room and the bar the food is awesome and we highly recommend anyone to stay with them

the bar was fully stocked and although busy managed perfectly well to avoid waiting to order

the location was ideal for holywell golf club

stayed for 3 nights as we were attending the british open golf at hoylake 27miles away

the gym and spa facilities were an added bonus

were really lovely and very accommodating even helped us with an early check in as we d attended for an event

as my shoes were on the radiator i ordered room service toasted sandwiches and chips and it was pretty poor

i was in wales for a wedding, got parking for my car no problem and was able to get in and out in the evenings

attended the area for open golf championship so hotels were at premium prices

live jazz music in the bar on the friday night

the room was lovely with large tv, tea/coffee making facilities and spa bath with rainforest shower

room was well decorated, comfortable and with a huge wall mounted tv. enjoyed the spa bath.

games room is ideal we played a few rounds of pool

my meal choice was simple after a ling drive and a meeting and with golf the next day

we all will remember our visit to open golf in 2023 and our stay at the woodcote hotel, which made our journey complete

the location is perfect for travel to the city or in our case the open golf

quite, no fuss .couldn't fault .anything. parking also available.

no tv single in the room ... but wifi very good

the kitchen was functional, as was the bathroom and the shower was great, with plenty of hot water

the kitchen has washing up liquid and two dishwasher tabs for the two nights we were there

kitchen has everything you need apart from teaspoons

it was very spacious and loved the open plan galley kitchen, dinning area and living room

bed was comfy and had everything we needed in the kitchen

bar on friday night was overwhelmed by multiple groups of boorish, elderly golfers who were totally inconsiderate of the other guests in the bar

will consider returning another time with friends to take advantage of the golf

staying with my daughter currently and she lives pool lane but it's nice to have a night there once every couple of weeks
