the bar was nice and the breakfast filling - the lunchtime/evening food was excellent

close to two nice small beaches and a lovely walk alongside the golf course with great views of the firth of forth and edinburgh to the south

laundry wasn't open for the period i was there

which was freezing cold due to being as far from humanity as possible and beside the staff and laundry facilities

ideal for families of 2 adults, 2 kids

i was told by the male receptionist that the kitchen was closed due to staff shortages

also we were right near the kitchen stock room so were awaken quite early each morning when staff were preparing breakfast

great bar and outside terrace and covered courtyard with a pingpong table

bed and noisey room( outside noise and noise from kitchen below)

was on the bottom floor next to the kitchen pantry

very clean, good location. excellent breakfast and bar snacks.

as not many guests bar was closed at 9pm

hotel stuff was extremely friendly, location is very central and breakfast is quite good.

the restaurant itself was closed outside of breakfast but the room service is great and offers a lot of good options

i ordered gluten free room service and i got exactly what i asked for and it was amazing, i will definitely be back

are exceptionally well appointed and equipped with modern conveniences, such as usb ports, free wifi and an nespresso machine, without affecting its traditional style
