kids loved the swimming pool too
this was plenty of room for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids
our room was huge, and the separate sleeping area for the kids worked perfectly

we had booked the attic family suite and were put in a much smaller room with our 2 kids, the bed wasn't ready
hotel, lovely facilities and rooms, incredible central location and the pool was amazing for the kids
room was duplex so kids had their own area/floor with chateau view
pool is quite small but kids loved it.
you have to pay to go in the jacuzzi and the pool is too deep for kids - about 5 ft

we travelled with kids in the off season maybe that s why
